Dan + Courtney: Someday is Today

This past September Jesse and I headed up to Gravenhurst for the Wedding of Dan and Courtney. We met up with them the friday evening before the wedding at the lovely Taboo Resort To get a feel for their big day. We learned that in the Morning Dan and his groomsmen intended on golfing so we changed our plans around so we could head out with them in the morning. Dan and Courtney are a great couple, we were able to learn so much about them at their rehearsal dinner and see how well connected they are with their friends and family. From Courtney’s uncle performing the marriage ceremony to her father surprising her by playing with the band on stage, Their day was truly special. We also had the pleasure of shooting along side our friend Brooks Reynolds who photographed their wedding. I hope you love it!

Hi boys, just wanted to tell you what a winderful job you did on this video. You are superb artists!

Happy Holidays

There has been a lot going on with Driftwood lately. This past season has certainly been our most busy and we are excited. Another big piece of news is that we recently acquired a Canon C100 and we have been looking for a chance to get to use it for a quick fun project. Last night we had the chance so got out friend Derek Hoffman to play a little tune.
Check it out!

Billy + Joyce

Though it may not seem like it, this video represents a big and beautiful shift in our business. We are excited to share a whole heap of weddings that we would not have otherwise been able to, and we can think of no better way to kick this off than with Billy + Joyce.

Billy and Joyce are so fun and authentic. Their love for each other and for their family and friends was overflowing all day. From their heartfelt vows in the beautiful St. Francis De Sales Parish, to the dance floor at the historic Berkley Church in downtown Toronto, this was a grand day. Grab a blanket and enjoy.

Jesse & Zach – Thank you for capturing our perfect day so authentically. Your ability to tell our story in a handful of minutes, without seeming to miss a single detail – is truly amazing! We couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Love, Joyce + Billy.

Nell + Travis: NELVIS

On November 17th I had the opportunity to shoot some photos at the wedding of Nell and Travis in Southern Pennsylvania. My good pal Theron asked me if I could be his second shooter and I was thrilled to get the opportunity. Not only did I get to spend the weekend in some beautiful forestry and mountains, I also had the chance to meet a lot of really awesome folks. There wedding was absolutely beautiful. From the Thousand year old bonsai trees (supplied by the brides father, Jim Doyle) to the beautiful vows the Bride and Groom wrote for eachother that had everyone in tears. It was a truly beautiful day and I’m glad I was able to be a part of it. Below are a few images I took on their day. I hope you love ‘em.

Amber + Brock

This past august, We headed out a couple hours east to shoot the wedding of Amber and Brock. Their day begin with Amber, her mother and her bridal party setting up the church with handmade details. There’s something about outdoor receptions that just feels right. The Irwin’s family property was the perfection location to celebrate their hard work and love filled day with friends and family. Here is the highlights reel of their big day.
